Firm Foundation Academy Background

We are building a school in Ladysmith, Wisconsin, centered on the principles of project-based learning, grounded in faith, and led with a servant’s heart. Our vision is to create a learning environment where students don’t just memorize facts—they engage in meaningful, hands-on projects that teach real-life skills, inspire curiosity, and cultivate a love of learning.

At the heart of our school is the belief that every child is uniquely gifted and capable of incredible things. By focusing on project-based learning, we give students the opportunity to explore their strengths, work collaboratively, solve real problems, and take ownership of their education. This approach helps prepare them not just for tests, but for life—equipping them with critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills they’ll use every day.

More than just an academic model, our school will be a place where faith and learning come together. We believe in leading with humility and love, and in creating a culture of kindness, service, and community. Our mission is to nurture not only the minds of our students but also their hearts, helping them grow into compassionate, confident individuals who live out their faith in all they do.

We’re excited to bring this vision to life in Ladysmith, and we invite families, educators, and community members to be part of the journey. Together, we can create a place where students thrive, faith is central, and education is driven by purpose.
